Ognisko Polskie (Polish Hearth) was created in 1939 with the onset of the Second World War, but we had our official inauguration on 16 July 1940. Since our 75th anniversary in 2015, we have held a very special party as close to that date as possible - The Summer Party otherwise known as the “Biesiada”
The Summer Party this year will be held on 17 July with a Zakopane-style barbecue, live music from the Malina Band and performances from not one but two Polish Folk Groups - “Mazury” and “Orlęta” and we look forward to seeing you there!
